About the Role:
Working as part of the Human Resources team, you will assist the Senior Global Payroll Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of KBC’s global payroll and expenses processes. You will be responsible for day-to-day processing and reconciliation of payrolls in the US, Canada, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Middle east, Argentina and APAC , You will collaborate with regional HR representatives to meet key deadlines and support the Global Finance department with month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Administer and process payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Assist the Senior Global Payroll Manager in handling payroll queries.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll journals and balance sheet accounts.
- Process Global salary payments , pension contributions
- Assist with the preparation of ad hoc reports and headcount tracking.
Expense Management:
- Oversee the administration, auditing, and processing of global expenses in line with KBC’s Global Travel and Expense Policy.
- Identify and escalate any expenses that fall outside of policy guidelines.
- Reconcile global expense balance sheet accounts.
Statutory Compliance and Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of global payroll-related statutory year-end returns.
- Ensure accurate calculation, and reconciliation of payroll-related taxes.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll and expenses.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years proven experience in end to end UK payroll processing, preferably with international payroll exposure (not essential as training in international payrolls will be given).
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including tax, national insurance , benefits-in-kind.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with colleagues and clients.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy in processing payroll and expenses.
- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP iHCM (ideal), and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel – advanced level, Powerpoint).
- Ability to work well within a team and under supervision, while also demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong numerical and data entry skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
