Job Purpose:
As a Commercial Services Manager, you will manage and support the commercial aspects of contracts, ensuring effective negotiation, execution, and compliance. Your role will involve reviewing terms and conditions, mitigating risks, and aligning contracts with KBC’s business objectives. Acting as a key advisor to senior management, you will provide insights into contractual feasibility, financial implications, and strategic business opportunities. By collaborating with legal, procurement, and operational teams, you will structure contracts that optimize value, reduce exposure to risk, and support long-term business growth. Additionally, you will stay ahead of industry regulations, market trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in contract management and commercial strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Contract Management & Compliance: Lead contract negotiation, execution, and compliance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Strategic Business Support: Provide insights into contractual feasibility, financial implications, and risk management strategies.
- Business Case Development: Develop and evaluate business cases for large-scale, complex, or high-value projects.
- Performance & Risk Management: Monitor contract performance, enforce compliance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Bid & Tender Management: Draft and review bid specifications, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with legal, procurement, and operational teams to drive effective contract structuring and execution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3-6 years in contract management, procurement, or commercial services, with a strong ability to negotiate and manage commercial risks.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.[DJ1]
- Skills: Strong business insight, data analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Competencies: Ability to manage complexity, provide strategic recommendations, and build strong customer relationships.
