About the Role
This role owns inventory management, costing, and reconciliation for our Canada and US operations, ensuring seamless integration and robust controls between SOS Inventory, QuickBooks Online, and physical stock. You’ll be centrally involved in our ERP transition —including leading the evaluation and selection process to determine the best-fit ERP for our business—championing implementation, and driving process improvement for site expansion and compliance. This role reports into the Director of Finance.
What You’ll Do
Inventory & Costing Management

- Track and reconcile electrical, mechanical, and finished goods inventory monthly, across multiple facilities.
- Perform WIP and BOM reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies within five business days.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize accurate cost structures, including BOM, direct labor, and overhead, leveraging best practices for manufacturing cost reporting.

- Produce monthly error free inventory control reports – Inventory valuation and count, BOM, WIP Analysis, and COGS.
ERP Evaluation, Selection & Implementation
- Lead and actively participate in the ERP selection process: coordinate requirements gathering, evaluate multiple ERP platforms, facilitate vendor demonstrations, and develop a business case for leadership to ensure the chosen system aligns with Jule’s current and future needs in Canada and the US.
- Upon selection, act as key functional lead for implementation of the new ERP, focusing primarily on accounting, finance, inventory, and purchasing modules (not the entire ERP system), with responsibility for requirements definition, data migration planning, parallel reporting, go-live testing, and user training.
- Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and stability in accounting operations, leveraging the ERP for analytics, scalability, and cross-team collaboration.

- Communicate clearly with teams and leadership across all levels, championing a culture of compliance, transparency, and improvement.
- Support operational leadership with analysis, recommendations, and decision support on inventory and costing issues, including cross-functional operational reviews.
- Some travel between Canada and US locations required for audits, ERP deployment, and training. Travel is expected to be 20-30% of time, focused on supporting cross-site collaboration, training, and compliance activities.
