We are hiring a Senior Security Engineer to help strengthen and scale cybersecurity across a complex, evolving environment. This is a hands-on role for a strong builder, someone who can operate across multiple security domains, move quickly, communicate clearly, and help create structure in an environment where security maturity is growing.

This person will work closely with Security Architecture & Engineering leadership and partner across infrastructure, IT, cloud, engineering, and business teams to improve security capabilities and drive meaningful security outcomes. The right candidate is technically strong, self-motivated, adaptable, and excited by the opportunity to help shape and mature security in a company where there is real room to make an impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, improve, and help operationalize security controls across the enterprise.
  • Partner with leadership to mature cybersecurity capabilities and support long term security architecture.
  • Lead or contribute to security initiatives across key domains, including:
    • Identity and access management
    • Endpoint security
    • Network & cloud security
    • Data security
    • Vulnerability and exposure management
    • Logging, detection, and response enablement
  • Evaluate current state security controls, identify gaps, and recommend practical, risk-based improvements.
  • Help define and document security standards, architecture patterns, design decisions, and implementation guidance.
  • Support implementation, integration, tuning, and lifecycle management of security technologies across the stack.
  • Work cross functionally with technical and non technical stakeholders to ensure security controls are effective, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Help establish repeatable processes, technical standards, and strong engineering discipline across the security program.
  • Contribute to a security culture that is collaborative, pragmatic, and focused on enabling the business while reducing risk.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Strong hands on experience in security engineering, including implementation, administration, and improvement of security controls
  • Broad and deep experience across most security domains
  • Experience implementing and supporting security tools and controls, not just advising on them
  • Ability to move between tactical engineering work and higher-level architectural thinking
  • Interest in architecture, with experience in technical design, documentation, standards, or best practice development
  • Strong judgment in balancing security risk, business needs, and practical execution
  • Experience working in environments where security is still maturing is highly valued

Core Traits

  • Self motivated and highly accountable
  • Quick learner who can absorb a lot of context and ramp fast
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping create structure
  • Strong communicator who can explain technical issues clearly and effectively
  • Able to pivot as priorities evolve without losing momentum
  • Collaborative, low ego, and easy to work with
  • Calm, practical, and execution focused
  • Energized by building security maturity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SaaS or complex enterprise environments
  • Experience helping build or mature cybersecurity capabilities in a growing organization
  • Familiarity with cloud first and hybrid environments
  • Experience partnering closely with IT, infrastructure, and engineering teams
  • Exposure to security architecture, control rationalization, or platform standardization efforts
  • Experience working effectively in remote or distributed teams
