As our Software Engineer, you’ll be right at the heart of an agile team building software that genuinely makes life easier for our customer; freeing them up to focus on what they love, not admin. You’ll dive into interesting technical challenges, shape software design and product direction, and help turn big ideas into well-scoped, impactful work. You’ll raise the bar on engineering standards, spot technical debt before it becomes a problem, and help keep our platform fast, reliable, and scalable.
Working closely with Product and Design, you’ll ship meaningful improvements every sprint and play a hands-on role in keeping things running smoothly through incident response and on-call rotations.

Build, enhance, and maintain core systems and platforms that power our products.
Develop across a modern stack (.NET, TypeScript, React), collaborating closely with engineers, platform teams, and engineering leaders.
Balance new features, bug fixes, and strategic technical improvements to deliver real value.
Test, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve our software in production.
Contribute to forward planning and propose improvements across engineering practices and systems.
Work collaboratively using pairing, mobbing, code sharing, and other agile techniques.
Communicate clearly through documentation, design discussions, and stakeholder collaboration.
Take ownership of quality, security, and reliability in everything you ship.
Actively improve delivery processes through experimentation, iteration, and team retrospectives.
Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident learning to keep our platform resilient.
What you'll bring
1 - 3+ years in a software engineering or equivalent role with experience in building SaaS software.
You’ll prefer working in small iterations, learning from experiments and see the value in DevOps principles.
You’ll be familiar with delivery techniques that reduce risk such as feature flagging and partial deploys.
Strong competency and experience with some of the following Mobile, .NET, JavaScript and/or API Design.
Some experience working with IaaS platforms e.g. Azure/AWS.
Demonstratable strong collaboration skills with other engineers across multiple disciplines.
Demonstratable strong communication skills, and an ability to translate technical concepts to less technical audiences where required .
Advocate for collaborative programming techniques .
Empathetic skills and ability to provide constructive and understandable feedback to others.
A natural curiosity and ability to problem solve.
