We are looking for a EDI Support Analyst. This role is an entry level position that works within the organization's EDI operations team by ensuring the accurate and timely exchange of electronic data between the company and its trading partners. This role involves monitoring EDI transactions, troubleshooting issues, and providing support to internal and external users. The EDI Support Analyst works closely with other members of the payer implementation and development operations teams to maintain and improve EDI processes.
Key Responsibilities:
EDI Transaction Monitoring
Monitor daily EDI transactions to ensure successful processing and timely exchange of electronic documents.
Identify and troubleshoot basic issues such as missing data, mapping errors, or connectivity problems, escalating complex issues as needed.
Troubleshooting and Support
Provide first-level support for EDI-related issues and assist internal teams or vendors in resolving technical problems.
Respond to EDI-related questions from trading partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate answers.
EDI Setup and Configuration
Assist with onboarding new trading partners, including mapping specifications, data validation, and testing.
Support senior EDI analysts or developers in implementing solutions that meet business requirements.
Testing and Validation
Help test and validate new EDI transactions, updates, and system changes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Participate in end-to-end testing with trading partners under guidance from senior team members.
Compliance and Standards
Follow EDI processes and transactions in accordance with industry standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) and internal policies.
Stay informed on changes to standards and best practices to improve workflow accuracy.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate documentation for EDI processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.
Track and report transaction statuses, errors, and resolutions to support operational visibility.
Collaboration and Communication
Work with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and payer implementation, to support EDI processes.
Communicate effectively with trading partners, payers, and internal stakeholders regarding EDI issues and updates.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy within EDI workflows.
Participate in training and development to build technical skills and knowledge of EDI systems.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
0–2 years in an IT support, technical, or related role, preferably with exposure to EDI systems, data mapping, or similar fields.
Experience with EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP) is a plus, but not required at the entry level.
Basic understanding of EDI concepts, standards, and data formats.
Familiarity with EDI software/tools and basic networking concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail for identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Effective verbal and written communication to interact with internal teams and external trading partners.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States - if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.
