Hi, I'm Destin, Director of Community at Jane. I lead our Community & Events team and support the Events function by working closely with our two regional Senior Event Managers, helping set direction, advising on priorities, and supporting the execution of conferences, tradeshows, and customer gatherings.

As Jane continues to grow across the United States, events play an increasingly important role in how we show up in new markets, deepen relationships in established ones, and support long-term growth. We’re investing more intentionally in our presence at industry conferences and tradeshows, and learning how to make those moments count.

We’re hiring two Events Specialists to support this work. You’ll work remotely from Canada while planning and executing Jane’s exhibitor presence at US-based industry conferences and tradeshows. Each person will manage their own portfolio of events and play a hands-on role in ensuring Jane shows up consistently, professionally, and prepared.

If you’re excited by owning important execution work, building repeatable processes, and helping scale a growing tradeshow program, this could be a great next step.

This role includes travel to the United States approximately 15–20% of the time, typically supporting no more than one to two events per quarter for onsite execution at industry conferences, tradeshows, and occasional customer events. Travel frequency may flex slightly based on event timing and team needs.

What Impact We're Looking for You to Make

  • Execute a strong, consistent presence at US industry conferences and tradeshows that supports lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness

  • Own end-to-end execution for a portfolio of tradeshows, ensuring events are well planned and professionally run

  • Support continuous improvement by tracking event performance and sharing insights that inform future planning

What You'll be Doing

Event Execution & Portfolio Management

  • Plan and execute Jane’s presence at ~30 US-based industry conferences and tradeshows each year

  • Manage Jane’s exhibitor presence, including booth setup, staffing coordination, asset and swag preparation, product demos, and onsite customer engagement

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Support, Engagement, and Partnerships to align on event goals, messaging, staffing needs, and budgets, while tracking spend and maintaining accurate records

Asset & Operations Management

  • Manage event assets such as booths, signage, print materials, swag, demo equipment, and lead capture tools, keeping inventories and shipment tracking up to date

  • Coordinate logistics with vendors, venues, and shipping partners to ensure materials arrive on time and events run smoothly

  • Create and maintain practical planning tools such as event calendars, timelines, run sheets, packing lists, checklists, and budget trackers

Performance, Collaboration & Improvement

  • Track event performance metrics including leads captured, attendee engagement, cost per lead, and budget vs. actuals, and support timely lead handoff and post-event reconciliation

  • Document learnings and share insights after each event, working closely with the Senior Manager, US Events and cross-functional partners to support continuous improvement

  • Contribute to improving event operations by sharing templates, streamlining processes, and using AI or automation tools where helpful

The Experience We Feel We Need

  • Hands-on experience executing a company’s exhibitor presence at US-based industry tradeshows and conferences, including booth logistics and onsite execution

  • Experience supporting or executing a high volume of industry tradeshows (15+ per year), often managing multiple shows at once

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, assets, and details across multiple tradeshows

  • Experience tracking tradeshow budgets, coordinating with vendors, and supporting invoice tracking and post-event reconciliation

  • Familiarity with tradeshow performance metrics such as leads captured, attendee engagement, cost per lead, and ROI

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team and cross-functional partners
