Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support all areas within the organization to foster an engaged and thriving team with the aligned skills needed to drive business goals. You will provide advice and guidance to managers and employees in both Canada and in the US on matters relating to recruitment, talent management, performance management, compensation and employee engagement.

What You Will Do:

Key accountabilities are as follows:

  • Participate in the development of the Company’s short and long term strategic plans and programs particularly from the perspective on the impact on the employee experience.
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team and managers to guide and execute HR programs and practices that support the overall strategic direction of InvestorCOM.
  • Provide HR guidance and support for employee-related matters to drive improved employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Lead and execute talent management strategies, learning and development programs and succession planning strategies to meet the needs of a dynamic organization.
  • Responsible for our Performance Management program that includes designing and reviewing our systems, collaborating with managers on the process and creating development plans as required.
  • Lead and execute recruitment activities including managing the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing and onboarding), developing recruitment strategies, building a talent pipeline and ensuring diversity and inclusion in our hiring practices.
  • Manage and execute all compensation and benefits-related programs for both Canadian and U.S. employees.
  • Lead employee engagement programs, initiatives and surveys.
  • Ensure company compliance with applicable employment legislation in Canada and the US.
  • Manage our Human Resources technologies and data usage.
  • Responsible for the overall administration of the human resources function including running reports, preparing relevant employee documents and tracking completion of HR initiatives.
  • Drive and enable InvestorCOM’s cultural transformation – One ICOM.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience across all HR functional areas within a SaaS environment
  • Possess a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a proven ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain credible, positive and productive relationship with a wide range of stakeholders

We require:

  • Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management
  • CHRP/CHRL designation
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications as well as social media recruitment tools.
  • Strong knowledge and application of all relevant employment legislation within Canada and the United States
  • Previous experience with ADP, BambooHR and LMS platforms are preferred

Location:

This is a hybrid role with onsite requirements (once per quarter, and additional days as required) at various locations in the GTA and at our Brantford, Ontario office. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
