We’re building a high-performing, next-generation digital marketing function to support our evolving business. As Leader, Digital Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing how we activate go-to-market programs across our digital channels; both paid and owned. You’ll lead a newly formed digital marketing team, working hand-in-hand with Product Marketing, Brand, and Sales leaders to turn strategy into action and result.
This role is ideal for a strategic leader who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves—guiding teams, leveraging data-driven insights, and embedding AI and next-generation technologies to modernize our approach to digital marketing.
You’ll be responsible for:
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop and lead a unified digital marketing strategy across paid media, SEO, CRM, and owned properties.
Partner with Product Marketing to translate business priorities into integrated digital campaigns that drive pipeline leads, acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Guide and influence media planning, budgeting, and optimization to ensure efficient spend and ROI.
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing:
Lead the vision and execution for customer lifecycle journeys via Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or equivalent platform).
Define audience segmentation, personalization frameworks, and trigger-based campaigns to maximize customer engagement and lifetime value.
Partner with analytics to continually test, learn, and optimize for conversion and retention.
Manage relationship with CRM agencies.
Paid Media:
Oversee relationships with digital media agencies, ensuring effective campaign planning, targeting, and creative development.
Implement testing roadmaps across channels to improve efficiency and optimize cost to acquire and lead generation.
Stay ahead of emerging channels, formats, and AI.
Digital Properties & SEO:
Own strategy and performance of web and app properties to optimize the customer journey and drive conversion.
Lead SEO and content optimization strategies to increase organic visibility and share of voice.
Partner with product, UX, and design teams to deliver best-in-class digital experiences.
Marketing Analytics & Martech Enablement:
Define and track KPIs across all digital channels, ensuring campaign performance is measured accurately and transparently.
Partner with analytics and data science to leverage AI, automation, and next-gen tools that enable smarter targeting and faster decision-making.
Establish a Mar-tech roadmap to enable our long-term success.
Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to enable real-time insights and optimization.
Leadership & Capability Building:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Establish operating models, toolkits, and best practices that scale across the organization.
Act as a thought leader and advocate for digital-first, data-driven, and AI-enabled marketing across the enterprise.
You bring:
10+ years of experience in digital marketing leadership roles, preferably within financial services, fintech, or technology sectors.
Proven track record of driving growth and optimizing performance across paid media, CRM, SEO, and digital properties.
Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent CRM/lifecycle platforms.
Experience managing agency relationships and multi-million-dollar budgets.
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging marketing analytics, attribution models, and dashboards.
Deep understanding of emerging technologies, marketing automation, and AI-driven capabilities.
Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional influence skills.
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
