Reporting to the Head, Marketing & Brand, the Leader of Brand and Marketing Operations will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of our brand strategy and evolving our marketing processes. This is an essential role in leading the efforts to lead the evolution of the Interac brand strategy as the organization continues its transformation with an expanded product offering and shifting industry dynamics. Additionally, this role plays a key role in helping to establish a unifying go-to-market strategy and plan that integrates product marketing plans across a wide variety of products and services. This role will also oversee the system, process, and partnerships to ensure seamless execution of our marketing strategy
You’ll be responsible for:
Brand:
Lead brand strategy for Interac and its portfolio of brands, including establishing and managing the brand architecture to support our long-term goals in partnership with product marketing and communications teams
Oversee the development and maintenance of brand guidelines and principles to ensure a consistent expression of the brand across all touchpoints
Develop a portfolio marketing strategy to support our transition to a multi-brand portfolio
Own brand health measurement and reporting
Planning:
Shepherd the annual planning process for the broader MarComm team to ensure integration and coordination across our go-to-market
Support the QIP process and any associated integration planning
Develop and maintain our marketing calendar to look for integration points and proactively highlight conflicts
Agency Model & Governance:
Evaluate and implement an enhanced operating model to meet the evolving needs of Interac
Own agency governance including managing agency reviews and monthly budget control reviews with key partners
Institute quarter all-agency meetings to provide visibility to our business performance and upcoming priorities
Marketing Process:
Partner closely with product marketing, digital marketing, and partners to optimize our workflows, strengthen our operational discipline, and ensure we deliver campaigns that are efficient, on-brand, and high-performing.
As a senior member of the marketing team, help shape our capabilities as we embrace next-generation tools and Ai, and build a marketing operations that’s agile, data-driven, and future-ready.
Spearhead and own the evolution of our marketing process to align product marketing, communications, digital marketing, and agencies teams to achieve executional excellence and rigour.
Own the sourcing and management of any project planning tools to support our marketing process
You bring:
10 - 15 years of experience in brand management, marketing planning, or product marketing.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in planning and execution.
Proven success managing agency relationships.
Strategic mindset with strong executional discipline.
Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries is a strong asset.
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
