We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on marketing leader to lead the brand plan and end-to-end marketing and for a new digital wallet that’s set to transform how Canadian’s pay and send money. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the full marketing vision – from positioning and go-to-market strategy (GTM) to brand management, customer acquisition, and lifecycle engagement/CRM. You’ll collaborate with product, sales, and external partners to bring the wallet to market and scale it. This is a rare opportunity to build a brand from the ground up and share a category-defining product.
You’ll be responsible for:
Crafting differentiated brand and product positioning, value propositions, and narratives that that resonate with both B2C and B2B audiences.
Owning the holistic brand plan and GTM strategy that aligns with the product vision and revenue goals.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Product, Sales, Design, Communications, and Insights—to build unified GTM strategies that drive adoption across the funnel from awareness, to consideration, to acquisition, and engagement.
Leading agency partners and internal stakeholders to develop breakthrough creative concepts.
Directly overseeing the creation of sales enablement materials—including playbooks, sales collateral, product sheets, and training tools—to equip internal sales teams.
Overseeing the development of a next-generation lifecycle marketing (CRM) strategy to drive customer engagement from onboarding to ongoing usage; orchestrated alongside our banking and merchant partners.
Establishing a partner marketing strategy and execute co-marketing programs with leading financial institutions, merchants, and acquirers, and act as the key relationship owner.
Tapping into market intelligence to stay on top of competitive trends, customer preferences, and industry shifts.
Defining target audience segments and uncover unique storytelling opportunities based on in-depth audience and user research.
Building and developing a high-performing product marketing team, mentoring team members to enhance their expertise in product marketing.
Acting as an internal ambassador for the product marketing function, championing a customer-first approach and advocating for the strategic importance of product marketing across the organization.
You bring:
15 years of experience in product marketing, ideally within payments, financial services, or a related industry.
Proven experience in developing and executing integrated B2B and B2C go-to-market strategies, with a track record of driving product adoption and user growth.
A strong understanding of performance marketing and the ability to lead teams and agencies towards industry benchmarks for cost-to-acquire.
Data-driven approach to marketing, with experience measuring, analyzing, and reporting on campaign effectiveness.
Experienced lifecycle marketer, experienced in building and optimizing automations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Strong leadership skills, with experience building and leading product marketing teams.
Strong knowledge of major digital marketing platforms, including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Excellent relationship management skills, capable of aligning partners across our ecosystem.
You are a proactive problem-solver with a demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
