Product Manager – Verification (Digital Credentials)

Want to make a lasting impact in a space where security, scalability, and innovation converge? We’re hiring a Product Manager to help drive the development and adoption of reusable digital credentials through Interac Verified — our trusted digital identity platform.

As a Product Manager, you’ll take ownership of building and scaling our credentials product offering. You’ll lead the development of a strategic roadmap, identify and assess enabling technologies (including vendors and partners), ensure alignment with – and leadership ahead of – evolving standards, and deliver high-impact solutions with urgency and precision.

This is a fintech-titled role with director-level scope. We’re looking for someone with deep experience delivering complex products at scale, a strong technical foundation, and a clear point of view on where identity and credentials are headed.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Owning the strategy and roadmap for Interac’s reusable digital credentials product – with a focus on scale, adoption, security, and interoperability

• Driving product delivery with urgency, aligning cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, marketing) to execute on the roadmap.

• Evaluating and recommending enabling technologies and vendor solutions that meet product requirements and position Interac as a market leader.

• Align with Canadian and global credentialing standards, ensuring our product is both compliant and future-proof.

• Gathering market intelligence across regulatory, technical, and customer domains to continuously evolve our product vision and priorities.

• Authoring and refining product requirements and user stories to guide technical delivery, including APIs, security layers, and user experience.

• Tracking and optimizing product performance through metrics, experimentation, and continuous iteration.

You bring:

• 5+ years of product management (or equivalent) experience, ideally in fintech, digital identity, privacy-enhancing technologies, or adjacent spaces.

• A strong technical foundation – you understand APIs, platform architecture, data privacy, and the trade-offs of different technology stacks and protocol

• Hands-on experience with credentialing or identity solutions (e.g., verifiable credentials, decentralized identifiers, identity wallets, trust frameworks).

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence cross-functional teams, executives, and external partners.

• Experience driving product development in fast-paced, agile environments, delivering high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.

• Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
