Product Marketing Intern

Reporting to the Lead, Product Marketing, Interac e-Transfer, the Product Marketing Intern will play a supporting role in delivering against our product marketing strategy. You’ll be directly supporting the Product Marketing team on a day-to-day coordination of efforts while also learning how Interac delivers best in class product marketing programs.

During this opportunity, you will learn about the exciting cross-functional collaboration opportunities that surround Interac’s Product and Partner Marketing teams – including the chance to participate and contribute to conversations on how we’re enhancing our Interac e-Transfer product with new and innovative solutions to the marketplace.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategies for Interac e-Transfer

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and integrated brand marketing, to develop marketing materials, sales sheets, banners and websites

  • Assist with tracking product marketing programs to demonstrate ROI

  • Maintaining brand resource center for Interac e-Transfer

  • Supporting product positioning at events

  • Keeping our weekly status document up to date to ensure team is organized.

  • Helping build and create product marketing report templates and competitive landscape report templates

  • Manage weekly product marketing status trackers

  • Assist with the development of presentations and collateral to educate key audiences and stakeholders

You bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program in a relevant discipline, like Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or Media Studies

  • You have had exposure to Sponsorships/Partnerships, Digital Content and Strategy, Marketing roles

  • You believe in the importance of data and showing results of your work

  • A strong writer with a passion for storytelling

  • You’re a team player, natural collaborator and build relationships easily

  • You can manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Ability to write compelling content for internal/external consumption

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines

  • Creative mind ready to spot and execute on new ideas

  • Relationship-building and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop trust and confidence, work effectively and collaborative with individuals across multiple functions and levels.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, Power BI, MS Teams) with preference for working knowledge of Excel

  • Although not required, you have some familiarity or previous experience with the following:

    • Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Canva,

    • Critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making

Workstyle: Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Location: Toronto

Term: May to August 2025

Duration: Monday – Friday
