Reporting directly to the Leader, Fraud FP&A, the Senior Business Partner, Fraud FP&A will play a key role in financial planning activities, working closely with business partners to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making.
You’ll be responsible for:
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and business planning across the newly created Fraud product organization, a key focus of Interac’s future activities.
Developing financial models and reports, meeting with business teams to summarize financial trends and provide insight to the senior management team.
Leading monthly functional department reviews with business owners, investigating variances to plan.
Implementing process improvements in support of financial objectives.
Ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
You bring
5+ years of experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
A value-driven mindset, with a proven history of partnering with business users to improve processes and develop solutions that achieve organizational goals.
Experience with large data sets, producing valuable insights to support strategic decisions.
Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and models.
A solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to expense recognition.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-financial users.
Agility and adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive for continuous learning.
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
