Reporting to the Leader, Portfolio Management, you will support the Portfolio Management team with creating/generating reports that will be used to provide insight for Portfolio Management and the Business Develop the playbooks for the new processes and reports that will be developed aligning with the new features and functionality of Planview. As well as supporting the team in their Organization Change Management efforts to increase adoption of Planview.

This is a unique opportunity to work with the Portfolio Management team that is responsible to provide insights to the Executives to assist and support the organization in achieving the corporate strategy. To also support the Business Units to understand the utilization of resources and value add of the products or projects.

The Portfolio Management team is evolving their maturity model and is looking for an individual to be part of this process. The organization has recently implemented an enhanced version of Planview that will allow the team to provide such insights as Investment Scenario Planning, utilization of resources and other such powerful reports.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the team in successfully implementing Release 2 of Planview Portfolio and achieving their outcome to produce Investment Scenario Planning (ISP) insights for FY25 Q3.

• Creating reports that will be inputs to the ISP and provide insights for Business Units to achieve their expected outcomes for FY25.

• Documenting the playbook capturing the processes, tools, reports that are repeatable.

• Updating The Hub (Interac’s intranet) material as processes and Planview further matures.

• Identifying and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement and process efficiency.

• Documenting and implementing enterprise processes reengineering/optimizations including identifying gaps, corrective actions and key metrics and KPIs.

• Maintaining and documenting processes; applying relevant business, technology and other enterprise expertise.

• Developing/implementing innovative tools, resources and templates to support process improvements.

• Developing and framing materials/presentations that support senior management in articulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

You bring:

• You’re highly adaptable and comfortable with the unknown – you can act independently and collaborate in a team through ambiguity

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)

• Communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to listen actively, articulate ideas clearly, and convey information effectively

• You call yourself a critical thinker and can turn data into meaningful messages – you demonstrate a kind of thinking in which you question, analyze, interpret, evaluate. Then translate this into a story to provide the picture allowing individuals to quickly grasp the messaging you are conveying.

• Considerable experience in generating reports, reviewing data, developing online tools, user guides, resources and templates.

• The ability to give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information.

• Confidence in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way with customers and stakeholders – you naturally enjoy helping, supporting and improving their experience

• Understanding that success is in the details. You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making.

• You are a proactive problem-solver with a demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Although not required, you have some familiarity or previous experience with the following:

  • Experience using Tableau, Power BI, Lucidcharts, or other data visualization tools

  • Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (Macros, PowerQuery, VLookUp, XLookUp)

  • Familiar with or understanding of portfolio and work management application (Planview preferrable)

  • Experience supporting customers (internal or external) in a technology context
