The Program Management, Lead will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs and initiatives within Interac. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership abilities, strong project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.

  • Defining program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.

  • Developing and maintaining detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and KPIs.

  • Partners with Business Owners, Product Managers and Product Owners to help assure strategy, vision and road map alignment and execution.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources, including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and execution.

  • Driving alignment and organizational, leadership and team preparedness for planning events

  • Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact program delivery, and proactively implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes, methodologies, and tools.

  • Providing regular updates and reports to SLT and key external stakeholders on program status, progress, and key metrics.

  • Fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation within the program team, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP/PgMP certification considered an asset.

  • Proven experience as a program manager or lead, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience managing complex programs and initiatives, from initiation to closure.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.

  • Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a matrixed organization.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively and develop creative solutions.

  • Experience with program management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines effectively.

  • Strong commitment to quality, excellence, and continuous improvement, with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering value to stakeholders.

  • Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity
