Learn about the exciting cross functional collaboration opportunities that surround the Sponsorship and Partner Marketing team. Support the Partner Marketing and Sponsorship team on day to day coordination of efforts. Keeping our weekly status document up to date to ensure team is organized. Ensuring partners have up to date brand guidelines. Keeping Partner and Sponsorship team files organized and up to date with status notes. Join Partner meetings (where relevant) to listen and learn about how Interac works within the payment eco-system with partners.


Reporting to the Leader, Sponsorships and Partner Marketing, you’ll play a supporting role in delivering against our corporate sponsorships and partner marketing strategy. You will learn how Interac delivers best in class partner and sponsorship programs with external partners while working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing a weekly status tracker to ensure all project updates are current and accurate, enhancing project visibility and accountability

  • Maintaining and organizing SharePoint files, ensuring that key deliverables are up to date and easily accessible for team members

  • Coordinating and completing end-of-placement intern special projects, often in collaboration with other interns, to contribute to team goals

  • Pulling key metrics from external platforms to measure the impact and reach of our initiatives, providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making

  • Assisting in the development of presentations and collateral, aiming to educate key audiences and effectively communicate complex information

  • Managing priorities and timelines effectively as part of a fast-paced team, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule

You bring:

  • Relationship-building and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop trust and confidence, work effectively and collaborative with individuals across multiple functions and levels

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion of each project

  • Strong conviction in leveraging data to drive decisions and showcase the effectiveness of your work, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to highlight key outcomes and insights

  • Exception writing skills with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives and stories that engage and resonate with diverse audiences

  • Skilled in creating engaging and persuasive content tailored for both internal and external audiences, ensuring clarity and impact in all written communications

  • Possessing a keen sense of creativity and innovation, constantly seeking out new ideas and opportunities

  • Currently completing an undergraduate degree from a creditable Canadian institution with a focus on Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies

  • Prior experience with sponsorship and partnership initiatives, developing and executing digital content strategies, and implementing marketing campaigns to drive engagement and achieve business goals

Workstyle: Hybrid*

Location: Toronto

Term: Sept - December 2024

Duration: Monday - Friday

*Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity
