The Leader, Portfolio Management will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization’s portfolio of initiatives, products, platforms and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and outcomes. This role is a business partner-in-nature and helps, asks, channels, chases and audits.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring, coaching and motivating a high-performing team of Portfolio Managers and analysts ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives, encouraging professional development and modeling a culture of collaboration with the goal of being trusted strategic advisors to the business​.

  • Implementing a holistic portfolio view to support proactive portfolio management and prioritization in alignment with organizational priorities​.

  • Implementing frameworks and measurements for proposing, approving, and reviewing initiatives and projects and facilitating regular portfolio reviews including; Monthly Operating Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Quarterly Board Materials and ad-hoc reporting to ensure initiatives are on tracking to and aligned with business objectives.

  • Implementing key performance indicators to measure and report on portfolio performance and health across the enterprise.

  • Developing reporting and continuous improvement of the Planview Platform to support strategic decision-making including, but not limited to, portfolio financial reporting on Value and Benefit realization in partnership with Finance, Board reporting, Enterprise Risk Management reporting​, Capacity / Resource allocation management and reporting with HR and Workday and other Organizational Metrics as reporting needs evolve.

  • Collaborating with the Risk team to ensure portfolio management and governance is conducted with Interac’s risk appetite statements and risk management methodology considerations.

  • Fostering a continuous improvement culture in the Portfolio Management and Agile Enablement teams, evolving and maturing methodology and skills in alignment with ongoing changes to the enterprise’s planning and delivery, and metric capabilities.

You bring:

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

  • Proven experience and subject matter expertise in portfolio management - assessing project portfolios, prioritizing initiatives, understanding business goals/priorities and optimizing resource utilization to maximize value and achieve business goals.

  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members.​

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower individuals and teams, foster a positive work culture and drive alignment towards common objectives. ​

  • Confidence in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.

  • A thoughtful, courteous manner when engaging team members, leadership, partners and suppliers
