The Product Manager will be responsible for the development, delivery, and management of Interac Verified. Interac Verified™ offers a suite of secure verification and authentication solutions that enables Canadians to have convenient digital access to participating government and business services that require personal data verification. Leveraging decades of experience in delivering secure payments, Interac Verified enables businesses to digitally verify potential customer and client data to deliver faster, more efficient, and convenient access to online services.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the cross-functional development team in ensuring that Product Backlog Items (PBIs) have adequate detail to facilitate squads in estimating their work.

  • Providing expertise in product backlog decomposition, ensuring that all PBIs track towards achieving the stated objectives and key results.

  • In conjunction with the Product Owner, defining and articulating User Personas to help the product development team understand the needs, motivations, goals, behaviours, and preferences of the target audience.

  • Working with the development team to articulate architectural enablers, technical debt, and demonstrate a strong understanding of working with non-functional requirements.

  • Supporting the Product Owner in conducting market research and partnering with the Strategy team to leverage available research, to identify industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape at the product and/or squad level.

  • Leveraging multiple data points to help define the product roadmap in close partnership with the Product Owner. Identifying opportunities for product improvements and making data-driven decisions.

  • Defining, measuring, and optimizing around product KPIs & business objectives. Partnering with design, marketing and sales to shape the solutions the product squad is developing. Navigating ambiguity & stakeholder management to drive commercial success of the product.

  • Developing and framing materials/presentations that support senior management in articulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Communicating detailed information in an impactful way.

You bring:

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Product Manager with the ability to solve issues and coordinate across teams.

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

  • A demonstration of the Agile mindset, and strong experience in problem-solving within Agile environments

  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to ensure plans, product development and strategy are clearly communicated.

  • Strong analytical skills; effective at breaking down complex problems, driving and managing change.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
