The Data Insights and Enablement, Senior Specialist—reporting to the Leader, Data Insights Delivery & Enablement—will provide assistance in digital data management, market campaign analytics, dashboard development, trend identification, and cross-functional collaboration for the formulation and execution of strategies aligned with business objectives.
You’ll be responsible for:
Developing strategies and processes for digital data management. Designing, implementing, and optimizing tagging strategies for websites and digital assets.
Supporting the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and data strategy. Developing and implementing test cases specifically for tagging to ensure accurate digital data collection.
Capturing business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs and objectives while aligning with Interac’s business objectives.
Identifying and analyzing industry/geographic trends and competitor market strategies and monitoring current/potential customer trends.
Designing, building, and deploying powerful BI solutions as per business requirements. Defining visualization best practices, helping with dashboard optimization, and exploring new sources of data representation to uncover new business opportunities at all levels of the business.
Developing substantial and insightful commentary/insight, creating engaging presentations that effectively communicate the story embedded in the data.
Validating the quality and integrity of the data included in all reporting.
Developing and executing programs and initiatives to enhance data literacy and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Defining key initiatives, milestones, and success metrics for the implementation of the data enablement strategy.
Developing resources to facilitate continuous learning and development related to data analytics and AI.
You bring:
A degree in Business, Mathematics, Marketing or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in web analytics using Google and/ Adobe Analytics suite.
Proficiency with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript with knowledge of browser cookies, dependencies, and cross domain tracking.
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
Experience using BI tools with expertise/certifications in at least one of the following BI software tools: Tableau (Preferred), Power BI, Qlik, Domo, Sisense.
Knowledge of Python/R and ability to write stored procedures, views, and SQL functions.
Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling; developing meaningful and insightful presentations for various stakeholders.
Proven experience interpreting and communicating complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent organization, planning, and prioritizing skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Proactive problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
