Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, the Head of Total Rewards will be the strategic leader responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing a comprehensive total rewards program that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent within Interac. They will align Interac’s compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs with business objectives while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The incumbent’s expertise will be crucial in creating a competitive advantage through Interac’s total rewards strategy and driving employee engagement and satisfaction.
You’ll be responsible for:
Develop and execute a forward-thinking total rewards strategy that closely aligns with our organization's business strategies, market dynamics, and financial parameters.
Continuously evaluate and analyze market data and industry trends to proactively adapt our compensation structures to remain competitive.
Lead the design and administration of our compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, and equity-based incentives.
Lead the design and refinement of the company’s Job Architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equitable and transparent compensation practices, addressing any disparities or biases.
Strategically design and oversee our benefits and wellness programs, tailoring them to meet the diverse needs of our employees while enhancing their overall well-being.
Implement effective communication strategies to educate employees about the value of our benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
Develop and manage recognition programs that celebrate employee achievements and contributions, reinforcing our company's values and culture.
Collaborate with HR and leadership to design and implement performance-based incentive programs that align with organizational goals and drive high performance.
Oversee our job architecture strategy, ensuring that job roles, job families, and compensation structures are appropriately aligned and maintained.
Utilize your expertise in data analysis to generate actionable insights that inform decision-making and continuously improve our total rewards programs.
You are an advocate for equity and fairness within our compensation and rewards programs, actively addressing disparities and promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits
Minimum 5 years proven experience in a senior leadership role focused on Total Rewards, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing comprehensive programs.
In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and rewards strategies.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional analytical skills, capable of translating data into strategic recommendations.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or experience commensurate with the job requirements.
