Business Analyst Intern - Technology

You will be part of a dynamic team of senior engineers, developers and operations professionals designing, building, implementing and supporting critical systems and platforms supporting several Interac lines of business.

You will…

• Participate on various projects and initiatives, working in fast paced agile setting with the Client Managers, Architects and Technical specialists to understand, gather and document requirements.

• Brainstorm, conceptualize and document business and technology frameworks and models. Perform gap analysis, build business flows of current and future state for resulting solutions.

• Facilitate user sessions and group meetings; ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner

• Develop roadmaps, capacity plans and long-term integration goals for systems and software

• Working with limited direction, establish priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic team environment.

• Quickly grasping new ideas and solutions, analytical problem solving, and communicate effectively with colleagues (business and technical staff) and end users

• A team player, willing and able to work under pressure and to tight timelines to ensure deliverables is produced according to the requirements

Who are you?

• Completed 3rd or 4th year studies in a undergraduate STEM program

• Have a good working knowledge of Cloud computing platforms, technologies and tools supporting the continuous integration and delivery of business applications.

• Great analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and interaction skills

• Have experience in a few of the following areas:

o Agile scrum and Kanban driven delivery model
o Business process analysis, re-engineering and documentation
o Structured methodologies(waterfall and Agile) for the identification of users requirements, and the development of specifications and feasibility studies

Must have skills:

• A good working knowledge of Cloud computing platforms, technologies and tools supporting the continuous integration and delivery of business applications.

• Great analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and interaction skills

Nice to have skills:

• Programming languages such as python and Java
