What You’ll be Doing:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Manager to lead our HR function. This role is ideal for an HR professional ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll work closely with leadership and employees across the organization to support core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screenings, interviews, and offers
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming new hire experience
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and optimize recruitment strategies
- Employee Relations & Support
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, escalating issues when appropriate
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
- Assist in conflict resolution and help promote a positive and inclusive work environment
- HR Operations
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and leave management processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws and regulations
- Performance & Development
- Coordinate performance review cycles and maintain documentation
- Assist with learning & development initiatives and training logistics
- Contribute to the development of career pathing and internal mobility programs
What we are looking for:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR role, ideally within a small to mid-sized company
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Collage, BambooHR, Gusto, ADP, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of employment laws across all Canadian provinces and HR best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
