About Integrity Advocate

We’re saving lives by ensuring the correct people are attentively completing training and certifications without cheating, with many customers in high-risk industries like oil & gas.

Founded in 2015, we were faced with the challenge of finding a service that could verify the identity and participation of online learners without creating extensive support needs due to device restrictions, software installations and the significant risk of privacy complaints and vulnerabilities. We became Integrity Advocate, a privacy-first alternative to existing solutions.

Our Core Values - Ownership, Integrity, Tenacity, and Intentionality - aren’t just words to us. This is the foundation of who we are as individuals and as a business. We act like owners, uphold integrity in every action we take, are tenacious in pursuit of our goals and remain intentional with every move we make. Together let’s bring Integrity Advocate to new heights knowing that we are a team bound by these core values.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are actively seeking a talented Intermediate Product Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of our online proctoring platform and establishing design best practices. You’ll be joining at a key time - right after a major rebrand - as we begin modernizing our user experience and evolving our new design system. You’ll lead the end-to-end design process - from research and ideation to prototyping and high-fidelity design - while collaborating with product and engineering. Your work will be deeply valued and highly visible with ownership of our platform’s entire UI/UX.

What We Need:

  • Lead the design of intuitive user experiences, leveraging solid design thinking principles while balancing speed and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and confidently as the sole designer in a growing company.
  • Facilitate design discussions with product managers and engineers, understanding the technical trade-offs of design decisions.
  • Clearly communicate and articulate UX rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Craft effective messaging to ensure clear, concise, and user-friendly content across all touchpoints of the user experience.
  • Build, evolve, and own a modern design system.
  • Conduct and leverage user research to guide design decisions and enhance the user journey.
  • A team player with the ambition to grow into a senior design role and lead future design initiatives.
  • A strong advocate for accessible design, with the ability to guide the team for WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and contribute to regular accessibility reviews and audits.

What You Have:

  • 3-4 years of product design experience (preferably in B2B2C SaaS or web-based applications).
  • An impressive portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, UX thinking, and visual craft (across Desktop and Mobile web)
  • Detail-oriented, with a high bar for design quality and consistency
  • A practical understanding of technical constraints and design phasing.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools for wireframing, prototyping, and design systems. (Bonus for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects)
  • Familiarity with accessibility principles and experience designing to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • Experience in developing clear, consistent messaging that enhances the user experience and aligns with business goals.
  • Experience conducting user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.).
  • A self-starter, comfortable working independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments (ideally in startups), while being a collaborative team player.
  • Strong communication skills
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a desire to take the lead on design.

Why Join Us:

  • Have a real impact and shape the future of the company - not just a small piece of a large puzzle.
  • Be part of a growing, passionate team dedicated to building a modern, accessible, and trustworthy user experience for test-takers and institutions - where thoughtful design helps uphold integrity in a human-centered way.
  • Meaningful opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Work fully remote with flexibility and trust. We offer unlimited PTO and a generous work from anywhere policy.
  • Contribute to our mission-driven company that values creativity, integrity, and excellence
