Insured Connect is the creator of ‘NIC’, the life insurance industry’s most innovative in force data and policy service platform. We have established partnerships with most Life Insurance and Annuity Carriers, who provide in force data feeds to power the NIC Platform.As a NIC Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our external clients and internal stakeholders by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data. You will leverage your analytical skills to provide insights and support the decision-making process. You will be an integral part of our data team, working closely with data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and application development teams to drive our data initiatives forward. Responsibilities & Duties•Collaborate with external clients to understand data requirements and provide ongoing support•Work with business teams to identify and fulfill their data needs•Analyze and interpret complex data sets using SQL and other database tools•Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration•Use Python and AWS cloud services to automate data processing and analysis•Create business intelligence reports and dashboards for data-driven decision making•Maintain and update the data dictionary to ensure data definitions are clear and consistent•Ensure data integrity by implementing and monitoring data quality checks•Document data workflows and processes for knowledge sharing and audit compliance•Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences•Provide support for data-related issues and troubleshooting QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant work experience•Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role•Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail•Experience with Python for data analysis and scripting•Knowledge of AWS cloud services•Expertise in data analytics and business intelligence tools•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills•Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications:•Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI•Experience in the insurance or fintech industry•Knowledge of ETL processes and tools•Strong organizational and time management skills•A proactive and self-motivated approach to work NIC is poised to revolutionize the life insurance industry with its pioneering platform.
