We’re a SaaS start-up that uses Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation to streamline and enhance the Revenue Cycle Management of dental offices. We have one of the largest Dental Service Organizations in North America (425+ dental offices) as a client, and we’re onboarding new clients to our platform all the time. We make our customers’ lives and jobs easier by giving them actionable insights on insurance claims, which allows them to be more efficient and recover more revenue for their businesses.Life at a startup can be different from one day to the next – which is part of what makes it fun and challenging. On a day to day basis, you can expect to be doing things like:

• Working with our Product Management team to understand business needs and design technical solutions to meet those needs
• Implementing and supporting the web architecture for our multi-tenant SaaS platform
• Ensuring our products are designed for performance, scalability, maintainability, and security
• Working to enhance the developer experience through improvements to our CI/CD platform and automated test infrastructure
• Participating in planning meetings, product demos, and retrospectives
• Evolving our REST API
• Implementing our first class user experience

• AWS Lambdas, S3, EC2, Fargate, SQS
• Docker

We use agile practices – two week sprints, daily Scrums, and frequent retrospectives. We use Jira to track our work, and Bitbucket as our code repo and build pipeline.What You Bring to the RoleInsideDesk is a remote-first company. Our employees can work from any location in Canada, as long as you have access to good internet for video calls. We’re looking for someone with 4 to 7 years experience building web applications, using some or all of the technologies above, and a willingness to learn the ones you don’t know. It would also be nice if you have:

• A degree or diploma in computer science (or similar), or equivalent practical experience
• An understanding of agile development practices

Our Interview ProcessInterviews are a chance for us to get to know each other and decide if working together is the right fit for you, and for us. It’s an important decision for both of us, so we have a few steps in our process.First, you’ll have a quick screening call with our HR rep. If we both want to proceed further, we’ll invite you to chat with us further in a series of interviews with members of our team. You can expect about 3 hours of interviews in total, and we’ll work with you to fit them into your schedule in a way that works for you.
