Are you a seasoned Configuration Analyst looking to make a significant impact in the benefits administration industry? If so, we want to hear from you! We are on the hunt for a talented and passionate Senior Configuration Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you’ll do

  • Lead Configuration & Implementation: Configure our proprietary Telus Health software to meet the unique needs of new and existing clients.

  • Problem-Solving Expert: Analyze and resolve client issues post-implementation, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Mentorship & Guidance: Provide direction and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

  • Industry Insight: Leverage your understanding of the benefits administration challenges and opportunities to impact successful implementations.

  • Independent & Team Work: Manage your deliverables independently, while effectively communicating status and collaborating with Implementation Managers and team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement employee benefit software with a deep understanding of the industry.

  • Conduct business requirements analysis, producing configuration designs, and identifying solution gaps.

  • Oversee and provide guidance for implementation analysts.

  • Apply best practice processes and methods, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

  • Prepare project estimates and schedules as needed.

  • Assist in process mapping, training, and transition of services for the benefits administration team.

  • Foster effective work habits, ensuring punctuality, responsiveness, and accessibility.

  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.

  • Promote teamwork, collegiality, and the corporate values of Telus Health.

  • Engage in internal training sessions and lead them as needed.

  • Participate in special projects and additional tasks as required.

What you bring

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in configuring Health & Welfare or finance systems.

  • Expertise: Strong business process modeling, system configuration, and web/mobile application design skills.

  • Technical Skills: Solid SQL knowledge and proficiency in at least one coding language.

  • Understanding: Profound knowledge of health and welfare benefits, payroll systems, and system integration methodologies.

  • Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative solution development.

  • Communication: Excellent ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Innovation: Proven ability to work independently and drive innovation.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex system challenges.

  • Additional Skills: Experience with financial reporting, payment processing, and system testing is a plus.

  • Organization: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
