InnerSpace is looking for an Implementation Engineer.

You will own the delivery of customer-facing products, ensuring the successful deployment, testing, maintenance, and reporting of our solutions into customer environments.

Your role is crucial in ensuring that customers receive the full value of our offerings; from dashboards and data to signage and APIs. As our customer base grows 10x over the next year, you will be responsible for scaling our capacity to deliver quality products on time to all of them.

You will be accountable for ensuring product quality and seamless delivery through the lifecycle of the customer’s engagement.

You will work cross-functionally with the sales, product, and IT teams to understand customer needs and translate feedback into tangible product improvements. As our customer base expands significantly, you will be integral to scaling our delivery processes while maintaining high standards of quality.

What you'll do

  • Build and execute deployment plans for large corporate facilities, ensuring seamless integration of our solutions.
  • Ensure the quality of data and customer-facing products, including dashboards, signage, onboarding tools, and APIs.
  • Work with account management to translate customer feedback into technical requirements and communicate them to the product and development teams.
  • Provide strategic and technical direction for customer-facing products to drive prioritization and development.
  • Identify and scope custom work, ensuring that it aligns with customer priorities and resource availability.
  • Evolve and streamline the delivery process to scale operations as our customer base grows.
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot solutions to ensure high-quality product delivery, identifying and fixing potential issues before and after deployment.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance of deployed solutions, ensuring long-term performance and updating configurations as necessary to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Use technical expertise to investigate and solve problems, providing proactive solutions that keep customers satisfied.
  • Generate reports using customer data from our databases to provide insights and performance metrics for both internal teams and customers.

Your experience, skills, and knowledge

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in sales engineering, support engineering, or a similar role related to technology deployments in large facilities (e.g., security, network infrastructure).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical training and experience.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain solid business and IT relationships, with proven communication skills to effectively represent InnerSpace to diverse audiences.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage change effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Experience with complex projects involving multi-tier architecture in global and regional environments.
  • Experience with databases and SQL for generating reports and insights using customer data.
  • Knowledge of system and software delivery/deployment best practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting floor plans is an asset.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional applications and integrating systems across business units is a plus.
  • Experience at small or startup companies
