As a Category Manager you will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be in charge of :
- .Define trade marketing plans for each channel and product category to achieve market shares and sales objectives, in collaboration with Sales team, from definition to execution. Develop operational marketing plans to optimize product visibility and sales at points of sale, ensuring profitability and effectivenessManagement of BIC Displays and related promotional activities negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best purchasing and selling conditions.
- Management of BIC Displays and related promotional activities negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best purchasing and selling conditions.
- Provide support to sales teams to ensure the understanding of trade marketing strategies and effective promotion of products.
- Budget management for catman/trade marketing activities ensuring that they are profitable and sustainable
The role also includes:
- Customers relation in cross-department meetings
- Clear understanding and success leverages elaboration from shopper behavior insights, market and customers’ trends
- Development of Category strategy on new potential channel (Discount and Drugstore)
- Internal relation and networking with local and international departments: Marketing, Sales, Shopper & Category CoE, Procurement, Logistic, Supply Chain and Finance
- Achievement of cross-channel Sales objectives and BIC KPI in Operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marketing or Sales or related field
- 5 to 7 years of experience within marketing/commercial departments; at least 2 years should be as Category Manager/Trade Marketing in FMCG companies
- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
- Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in MS Office
- Solid analytical skills with a strategic ability
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication and relationships skills
