Job SummaryWe are looking for a Full-Time Program Manager, which involves delivery of care and provision of toxin preparations for medicinal use (e.g., treatment of spasticity following a stroke) to Residents of Long-Term Care (LTC) homes in Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Program Manager is responsible for:
  • Managing Relationships with External Stakeholders, including industry partners, representatives from LTC homes, and more;
  • Optimizing processes and communication involving internal and external stakeholders with the goal of continuous improvement and providing the best possible outcomes for Residents of LTC Homes;
  • Hiring, managing, onboarding and recruiting staff to meet the needs of providing on-site support staff to LTC Homes in the province;
  • Digitization of manual reports and clinic day forms and scheduling into our Patient Management Software
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Optimizing processes and communication established for the delivery of care, involving internal and external stakeholders with the goal of continuous improvement and providing the best possible care for Residents of LTC Homes;
  • Hiring, managing, onboarding and recruiting staff to meet the needs of care delivery, including coordination activities and providing on-site support staff to LTC Homes in the province;
  • Digitization of manual reports, clinic day forms, and scheduling forms into our Patient Management Software to optimize reporting and invoicing activities
  • Taking responsibility for program offering with respect to coordination of services, reporting, providing on-site support staff, training, health care practitioner expenditure reimbursement, and coordination of medical devices (ultrasound) to LTC homes
  • Weekly to monthly touchpoints as necessary with industry representatives for coordination of activities
  • Quarterly review of the program deliverables to ensure alignment of service delivery with program objectives

Experience and Educational Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management or Healthcare is Required
  • Previous involvement in managing healthcare or specialty drug programs is an asset
  • Previous experience working at a specialty pharmacy is an asset
  • Previous experience in working or exposure to LTC homes is an asset
