Position Summary

McLean & Company is seeking a dynamic Social Content Producer & Manager to take our social presence to the next level. This is a hybrid role with a primary focus (70%) on producing engaging, research-driven content, complemented by social media strategy and management (30%).

The ideal candidate is a storyteller first, someone who can take McLean & Company’s HR research and thought leadership, distill it into compelling insights, and bring it to life across social channels. You’ll create original, high-quality content tailored for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring our voice resonates with HR leaders and professionals. At the same time, you’ll support broader social media planning and community management to strengthen our brand visibility and impact.

This role requires a strong grasp of HR topics, an eye for emerging social trends, and the ability to deliver content at pace without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Production (≈70%)

  • Develop creative, research-based content including short videos, graphics, memes, and copy that bring McLean & Company’s HR insights to life.
  • Translate complex research findings into engaging, platform-appropriate formats that spark conversation and drive thought leadership.
  • Storyboard, script, and produce original content across multiple platforms with a focus on LinkedIn and emerging social trends.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, quality standards, and campaign objectives.
  • Manage production pipelines, timelines, and resources to deliver content consistently and at scale.
  • Collaborate with research, marketing, and design teams to ensure messaging is accurate, impactful, and timely.

Social Media Strategy & Management (≈30%)

  • Support the development and execution of McLean & Company’s social media strategy in alignment with marketing goals.
  • Curate, schedule, and post content to maintain a consistent and engaging social presence.
  • Monitor platforms, respond to comments and inquiries, and foster meaningful conversations with the HR community.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, providing insights to optimize content and campaigns.
  • Contribute to employee advocacy and thought leadership initiatives by equipping internal stakeholders with social-ready content.

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in B2B content production and/or social media management, ideally in HR, consulting, or professional services.
    • Experience in HR communications, with the ability to distill complex HR concepts into clear, engaging, and impactful messages.
  • Content Expertise:
    • Proven ability to translate research or thought leadership into compelling, bite-sized content.
    • Strong creative instincts with experience producing video, graphics, and copy for social platforms.
  • HR & Research Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with HR topics, trends, and McLean & Company’s research or similar research-based content.
  • Skills & Strengths:
    • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities; able to juggle competing priorities.
    • Analytical mindset: able to interpret performance data and optimize accordingly.
    • Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a keen eye for detail.

Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish or German is good to have to support our diverse client base across North America and globally.
