Marketing Manager - Events Promotion (Remote)

Position Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager, and event promotion, to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is critical in driving the communication strategy and execution for our small to medium-sized hosted events as well as promoting our presence at third-party events. The primary goal is to maximize attendance by promoting these events to both existing customers and potential future customers. You will lead the integrated campaign plan, working closely with various teams within the marketing department (social media, PR, content, video) and other departments such as design and sales, ensuring alignment across all touchpoints. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the events team to coordinate efforts and achieve successful event promotion.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication strategies to promote a portfolio of small to medium-sized hosted events as well as third-party events.
- Create and manage event-related campaigns, including email marketing, social media posts, and landing pages, to drive attendance and engagement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance sales enablement for targeted events, ensuring they are equipped with relevant tools and materials.
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure alignment on promotional efforts while the event team handles logistics, partnerships, and organization.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as creative and content teams, to produce high-quality promotional materials.
- Measure and report on campaign performance, using data to optimize future event communications and improve registration and attendee engagement.
- Lead event reporting efforts by working closely with the analytics team to build event communication dashboards and reports and provide detailed insights across all channels.
- Assist in setting up and managing event tracking systems in Salesforce, ensuring proper data flow and segmentation for event campaigns.
- Monitor event performance metrics and support lead management processes to optimize post-event engagement.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in event communication or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale event promotions.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and strategies.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and integration with leading marketing automation tools is highly preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and timelines.
- Experience in B2B communication is a plus.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and departments to achieve communication goals.
