We’re searching for a Director, Platform Partnerships to lead our DSP team across the Americas.
What we are looking for:
Experienced leader with a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, proven track record, and results obsessed.
Knowledgeable: Expert level understanding of the DSP landscape. You are technical in nature, understand the nuances of this business, and enjoy operating as the bridge between technical and commercial people.
Strategic: You will draw upon your experience to formulate, track, and drive to completion initiatives designed to enhance and strengthen our DSP partnerships. This includes plans for onboarding, scaling, and future optimizations that improve efficiency, increase ad spend, and protect against SPO.
Accountable: You are metrics obsessed. You will implement, manage and report regularly on key metrics to help guide and drive growth across our DSPs. You bring strong planning, operational excellence, and experience setting and reaching goals that align with overall company strategy.
Seasoned mentor and coach with passion for developing and guiding all levels within an organization.
Leader: You will be directly responsible for building and leading the Americas Platform Partnerships team and charged with identifying, and driving regionally relevant strategies
Mentorship: Nurture and guide the team by leveraging your experience mentoring, coaching, leading, and providing feedback.
Open and Transparent: Your partnership with the current and future team should reflect that of our open and transparent culture, capitalizing on employee retention and career development.

Develop and nurture strong relationships with senior leaders across key partnerships
Highly Motivated: Ensure that Index Exchange exceeds our clients’ expectations through strong operational excellence and alignment with partnering teams. The ability to encourage, support, take responsibility, be enthusiastic, curious, proactive, and self-motivated is a must.
Growth: Work closely with key clients to identify opportunities to accelerate growth and leverage new capabilities delivered by Index.
Work cross functionally with various stakeholders to drive forward progress across Platform Partnerships Communication: Extensive communication skills, knowledge sharing, and partnering with Product, Finance, HR and Executive leadership.
Collaborative: You’ll work cross-functionally with other Commercial and Product teams to implement operational strategies, provide feedback/insight/reports and document new processes to help improve the client experience.
What you will be doing;
Growing your Business
You will manage a portfolio of DSP partnerships and act as a consultant and trusted partner for them
Execute Index Exchange initiatives through consultative sales approaches
Be an expert on your partner's performance to identify issues
- Provide expert level customer service to our DSP partners
Upselling and more
Serve as expert and evangelize the value of the Index offerings across your portfolio
Work with a global, omnichannel, and revenue driven mindset.
- Look for ways to optimize DSP relationships to increase ad spend and Index share of voice.
Manage a team of account managers. Provide coaching, mentoring and guidance
Driving overall strategy and serve as escalation point
- Remain accountable for goals and KPIs.
Partnership & collaboration
Collaborate with the Index Product team to assist in future product development and strategic planning that
will enhance the business and create additional value to our DSP partners
- Work alongside global counterparts to collaborate on strategy to grow accounts globally
What you Have:
7-10+ years of experience in digital media
A deep understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape
Extensive experience building and managing successful relationships/partnerships
Proven leader with strong track record leading teams
Excellent business acumen and ability to develop long term strategic plans
The rare balance of creative problem solving and detail oriented
You’re an organized, self-starter, and are your own “best” critic.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong attention to detail
External speaker – panels, industry events
The base salary for this role is $123,000 – $166,000. The total compensation package may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills and experience.
