In support of our growth plans, we are expanding our HR team and are seeking an experienced and highly skilled In-house Recruiter (6-month Contract) to manage all aspects of the recruitment process. Reporting directly to the VP Human Resources, this is a highly visible position responsible for identifying, attracting, assessing, and presenting the best talent in the market to hiring managers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for extending offers to candidates and onboarding.

This role is flexible hybrid position and located in North York, ON. We have an outstanding new office on the top floor of an amazing building on Yonge Street that you can work from when desired.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the Talent Advisor across the organization, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, including Technology, Sales and Marketing, Product and Corporate
  • Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process; working with hiring managers to define profiles (including background and competencies) for candidates, to designing and executing outreach and assessment activities to closing.
  • Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent
  • Conduct thorough screening and evaluation processes and co-ordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Focus on creating an optimal hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle
  • Responsible for administrative processes related to recruiting, including managing job postings, conducting reference and background checks, creating offer letters, hiring forms, communications etc
  • Other project work or team collaboration responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruiting / talent acquisition experience in an in-house capacity or within a fast-paced agency
  • Technology and Go to Market sales recruitment experience is required
  • North American wide and international experience is highly valued
  • Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS or talent management systems desired
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • University degree or college diploma
