This is a hybrid position where you'll be required to be in office at least two days a week with the flexibility to work from home the remaining days if desired.

About The Role:

To support our growth, we are expanding our Professional Services team and are looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager. The successful candidate will bring a track record of successfully helping B2B teams by providing detailed, technical project management expertise during business requirement and solution mapping interactions with clients and prospects alike. Part relationship-builder and part technical expert, the Sr. Technical Project Manager will have a knack for understanding client needs and offering easy-to-understand answers and solutions to non-technical audiences, as well as being able to interact with our development teams on technical concepts required for client implementations.

In this role you will:

  • Become an iLobby product expert and serve as a valuable technical point of contact for internal and external inquiries and requests
  • Translate business needs and requirements into technical requirements as part of discovery and solution mapping processes
  • Manage, facilitate, and successfully execute client implementations by maintaining a relationship with customer stakeholders as well as internal business, product, and development teams
  • Manage project schedules, track progress across teams and ensure that project timelines are met
  • Partner with sales and account executives to articulate the overall iLobby value proposition, vision and strategy to customers and prospects
  • Act as the technical product lead for complex opportunities, answering technical questions, matching customer pain points to iLobby solutions, and supporting the closing of new opportunities, while working together with a sales or account executive
  • Deliver product and technical briefings / presentations to potential clients
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers and iLobby product/technical teams regarding product feedback
  • Prepare and/or provide input for technical sections of RFPs/ RFQs
  • Review and/or provide input technical sections of security questionnaires and legal agreements
  • Participate in technical aspects of research & development initiatives
  • Assist and augment interdepartmental needs by providing project management services
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Adapt and learn as our products and technologies change

Skills and Experience:

  • Higher education or professional degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Project Manager within B2B enterprise software
  • Experience in an IT field
  • Must be comfortable on the call or experience dealing with end users
  • Deep customer empathy and ability to identify customer needs
  • Able to communicate with technical audiences including developers, dev. team leads and software architects
  • Proven track record of demonstrating software tool solutions and supporting complex opportunities with enterprise prospects
  • Knowledgeable of the challenges faced by complex enterprises such as those in manufacturing, industrial, construction, oil + gas, airports, etc. – would be an asset
  • Highly experienced working with software integration projects – able to speak to APIs and converse confidently around integrating software platforms to alleviate customer pain points
  • World class communicator in English – able to turn highly technical topics into easy-to-understand conversations with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong business and technical experience with SaaS products
  • Self-driven and able to work with minimal direction and supervision
