Why this role is important:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Business Development Representative role is responsible for generating pipeline for Igloo account executives to convert into revenue. You will be measured on your ability to create meetings, have prospects attend those meetings, and ultimately for meetings that turn into pipeline. Meetings are to be scheduled via both inbound lead volume and outbound sales strategies. The Business Development Representative’s primary purpose is to be pipeline generation super star!
This role is a great fit if you’re a natural relationship builder, proactive, persistent, and a goaloriented individual motivated to compete and succeed.As a Business Development Representative, you will represent Igloo Software professionally and consultatively and will directly impact the company’s success. You will target senior decision makers at forward-thinking mid-market to enterprise businesses to help understand the value a digital workplace would bring to their employees and company culture.

The impact you’ll have:

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts
  • Diligently follow up on inbound leads using pre-defined process based onSLAs
  • Effectively manage your time to achieve daily/weekly KPIs
  • Leverage the tools and technologies (including but not limited to: Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Salesloft) to help you succeed
  • Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts
  • Work with Account Executives (AEs) to build new and existing accounts (i.e.: adding contacts, emails, strategic calling)
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly quota of meetings scheduled, attended, and pipeline created
  • Follow pre-defined processes to track leads, pipeline developments and prospecting efforts in Salesforce.com and Salesloft

The keys to success:

  • 1-3 years of B2B, SaaS business development experience
  • Experience in a fast, performance-based, organization
  • Strong desire to succeed with experience in outbound prospecting
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills including responding to inquiries both on the phone and via email
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work in an efficient manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills, innovative attitude, flexible, proactive, service-minded and a strong team player
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • People who want to win. You're a hunter and find motivation in temporary setbacks
  • Work as a team - we win as a team and lose as a team
  • Be ambitious and work hard to hit your numbers because you know it impacts the achievement of overall team and company goals
  • Proficiency with salesforce.com or similar CRM, as well as Salesloft or similar sales engagement tool
