Your Mission
As an Accounts Payable Coordinator (6-month contract) at Hydrostor, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass accounts payable duties, expense reporting, and utilizing Excel for data management. This position will have a direct impact on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the efficient functioning of our office. The role involves working 5 days a week, with 2 to 3 days in the office and the potential for 2-3 days of remote work, offering a flexible work arrangement.
Your Day-to-Day Adventures
Accounts Payable
- Assist in the accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, and processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Expense Reporting
- Manage expense reports submitted by employees, reviewing receipts and reconciling expenses.
- Process and record expense reimbursements.
Data Entry and Excel
- Utilize Excel for data entry, spreadsheet management, and maintaining financial records.
- Organize and update financial spreadsheets with precision and attention to detail.
Office Administration
- Perform general office administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data organization, and mail handling.
- Support other administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with office logistics.
Communication and Collaboration
- Collaborate with the accounting team and other departments to ensure smooth financial transactions and accurate record-keeping.
- Communicate professionally with vendors, employees, and team members.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong aptitude for financial tasks. They should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities are essential. Additionally, the candidate should be adaptable and willing to contribute to office administration tasks as needed.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate or Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Accounting or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance-related roles, familiarity with accounts payable and expense reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and spreadsheet management.
- Strong attention-to-detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability and willingness to assist with office administration tasks.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
