As our Sales Development (SDR) Manager, you will be an integral part of our Direct Sales team, leading our Canadian Inbound SDR team to success. This role is part of our Sales leadership team and will also play a key part in strategic decision-making.
As our SDR Team Manager, you’ll be:
- Driving the performance of your inbound sales team, ensuring individual and team targets are consistently exceeded across diverse lead types (marketing-generated, website, content, events, etc.)
- Coaching and nurturing your team through regular 1:1 meetings, with a strong focus on tracking KPIs and conversion metrics through the inbound funnel
- Partnering closely with marketing to align on lead quality, volume, and campaign performance, ensuring seamless lead handoffs and feedback loops
- Streamlining systems and processes to ensure optimal lead routing, follow-up speed, and conversion efficiency
- Analyzing inbound lead sources, buyer behavior, and funnel trends to optimize targeting and sales tactics
- Reporting data and trends to highlight opportunities for strategic sales direction
- Leveraging Salesforce dashboards and reporting tools to track key inbound metrics and team performance
- Utilizing sales automation, CRM tools, and funnel management strategies to prioritize leads, improve follow-up efficiency, and accurately forecast sales opportunities
- Working cross-functionally with marketing, enablement, sales ops, and the broader sales team to develop and execute strategies that grow and accelerate the inbound pipeline
What will you bring
- 3+ years of proven, high-volume sales experience (B2B)
- 3+ years' experience running and leading an SDR team
- A track record of meeting targets
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrable experience managing and growing inbound lead engagement, including optimizing lead response across channels like website chat, email, phone, and event-driven interest, as well as nurturing early-stage and marketing-qualified leads through targeted follow-up and drip campaigns
