What will you be doing as a Business Development Representative?
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research prospective restaurant clients, leveraging your knowledge of the restaurant industry to understand their pain points and needs related to workforce management and scheduling.
- Outreach and Engagement: Initiate outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to introduce Ameego's scheduling software to potential clients. Craft compelling pitches that highlight the unique features and benefits of our solution.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Ameego's scheduling software, staying up-to-date with its features, capabilities, and competitive advantages. Articulate how our software can effectively address the scheduling challenges faced by restaurant businesses.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct consultative sales conversations with restaurant owners, managers, and decision-makers. Listen attentively to their needs, concerns, and goals, and present tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
- Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, either virtually or in-person, showcasing how Ameego's software can optimize workforce scheduling, enhance operational efficiency, and lead to cost savings.
- Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM software to manage and track your sales pipeline. Keep detailed records of interactions, discussions, and progress with potential clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights from the field, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Ameego, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for engaging potential restaurant clients and showcasing the value of our scheduling software. You will be a key contributor to our growth and success, playing a crucial role in expanding our customer base and establishing lasting relationships
What are we looking for in a Business Development Representative?
- Experience working in a sales related role
- Previous experience working in the restaurant industry is highly preferred, as it will enable you to empathize with potential clients and understand their specific pain points.
- Highly motivated individual with a demonstrated passion for sales and a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and relationships with potential clients.
- Proactive and resourceful attitude, with the ability to identify and pursue new leads and opportunities.
- Comfortable with using technology and software for sales and communication purposes.
- Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple leads and opportunities simultaneously.
- Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment, staying updated with industry trends and competitive landscape.
