Role description:

Join our Property team in London as a Project Manager and we will make sure you get the experience and personalised learning support you need to take your career as far as you want it to go. We are seeking to locate a career minded Project Manager to support the team on on-going design and build and joint venture projects within the residential and commercial property sector. It is intended that the role will offer the opportunity to progress your career as your experience grows. Our team is involved in some of the UK’s most complex and stimulating projects that are diverse and technically demanding. We have an enviable reputation in the delivery of such schemes and are working closely with our blue-chip clients delivering their most important projects.


Role accountabilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with members of client organisations as part of project delivery teams;
  • Member of the project team responsible for full or part delivery and contract administration of a project or projects (prime and affordable residential all tenures, hotels, office, commercial, sports and leisure, retrofit, etc.) to budget, quality and time metrics through all RIBA stages;
  • Undertake timely and accurate data collection, support analysis and preparation of reports;
  • Work within established financial systems and clear project objectives to support the production of plans, schedules and track budgets, highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets;
  • Management of any project risks or issues to ensure the project is not adversely impacted, and monitor the delivery of projects to relevant standards;
  • Support analysis and review a range of data to identify key themes and trends and use the outputs to produce recommendations that support project decision-making;
  • Interact effectively across the organisation, completing professional level tasks for others to ensure projects/programmes can be delivered to meet client expectations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant business experience including management of projects or aspects of projects ranging from £5m to £40m+;
  • Industry relevant degree or qualification (or working towards);
  • MRICS or equivalent professional membership (or working towards);
  • Residential led development experience preferable;
  • Knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts;
  • Understanding of the NEC suite of contracts preferable;
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with peers and senior colleagues and build and maintain relationships;
  • A logical approach to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects;
