Senior/Principal Tunnel Engineer

With exciting, large-scale projects now in our portfolio, we are looking to grow the tunnel engineering team in either our Queensland or New South Wales office. You will play a key role in the design delivery of one or several tunnel projects or tenders in our Civil Infrastructure business unit.
- Manage packages of work for complex, multi-disciplinary tunnel projects
- Be responsible for aspects such as concrete structure design, ground structure interaction design, segment line design and finite element (FE) analysis
- Work closely with the drafting team, overseeing the production of package drawings
- Representing the team in multi-disciplinary design meetings both internally and with the client or design partners
- Developing and mentoring graduate and junior engineers within the team.

- Proven success managing projects or packages of work within minimal supervision in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with people at all levels of a project including drafters & designers, project teams and the client
- A passion for and ability to mentor, develop and coach others
- The ability to challenge the status quo; you encourage innovation, continuous improvement and have been described as a critical thinker.
- Experience in temporary works, primary lining design support, construction staging, excavation stages or segmental lining design will be highly regarded.
