Role description:

The role requires a self-motivated individual to provide Programme and Project Management support to the Lead Project Manager for Capital and Operational Expenditure budgets across a wide range of multi – discipline projects for high-profile public-sector clients.

Role accountabilities:

  • Preparation of project briefs including stakeholder engagement, capturing project objectives, the key deliverables and associated timelines
  • Provide support on Forward Maintenance Plans and Asset Replacement Strategy
  • Provide support on advice to articulate specific project scope requirements including health and safety and CDM statutory obligations require to meet the clients desired outcomes
  • Management of health and safety from inception to completion including the production and monitoring of risk registers
  • Provide programme advice against the project brief
  • Support action tracker monitoring with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support coordination of internal team meetings and project reviews
  • Understand and be able to articulate the monitoring of time targets against associated projected fee income
  • Support the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires where required including evaluation and recommendations on submissions
  • Support the preparation of tender documentation or employer’s requirements including the collation of all associated works information captured within the confirmed brief
  • Support the tender analysis and evaluation process to include participation in Contractor interviews to enable recommendations to the client team on tender submissions
  • Chairing and / or monitoring project progress meetings including maintaining and monitoring change to include supporting financial control through to the final account
  • Monitoring of Contractor performance against Contract documents and any compliance requirements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of project finances to include evaluation of interim valuation claims, advice on approval for payment of invoices, managing financial change and providing regular financial reports to the client team
  • Support the handover of all projects ensuring all required documentation is appropriately complete

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven client confidence resulting in repeat business
  • Proven cost viability within the project team
  • Support CX feedback at key project milestones and as part of Lessons Learned
  • SHEQ reporting commensurate to level and in line with Client requirements
