Role description:

This role will form an integral part of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC) – Arcadis centralized and fully integrated project delivery group. Our GEC is made up of more than 3,000 talented individuals working in offices across Romania, India and Philippines, providing Capability, Capacity and a Competitive Advantage across a wide array of unique projects and services, in collaboration with our global businesses.

Arcadis' Romania office is seeking an experienced Architect to join our dynamic Workplace team, contributing to a range of high-profile projects. In this role, you’ll oversee architectural design and technical development, ensuring that our workplace solutions meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and functionality.

Role accountabilities:

Embrace and demonstrate the Arcadis behavioral framework in your day-to-day work.

Be a key contributor to project success by completing assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in line with quality goals – while always aiming to exceed client expectations.

Collaborate closely with Workplace colleagues from other countries, primarily in Europe. As we adopt a One Team approach, clear and consistent communication is essential to maintaining the quality and integrity of our project outcomes.
Support project rollouts with flexibility and adaptability. Be prepared to work on multiple projects and switch between them efficiently as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in architecture or Interior design.
3-5 years of experience in architecture or interior design work, with a strong background in design documentation.
Proven competence in design and planning with the ability to effectively coordinate across multiple disciplines.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential to this role.
Workplace sector experience is highly desirable
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows is required. Hands-on Revit project experience is essential.
Working knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Enscape, Twin Motion, Dynamo proficiency is a plus.
Strong command in written and spoken English is essential.
Open-mindedness and enthusiasm for contributing to the team’s digital initiative and process automation efforts.
Familiar with international design codes, particular to Europe is an advantage.
