We’re looking for an experienced SaaS Account Executive to join our Sales Team and own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This is a true revenue-generating role with high autonomy. You’ll be trusted to build your pipeline, close deals, and help shape our continuously evolving sales motion. Our product is industry leading with a strong product market fit, yet we operate with an agile mindset- things move fast from evolving processing to continuously shipping new features.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is energized by building relationships, and gets excited about closing new business. You should have a strong background in B2B software sales, a natural curiosity for learning, and a competitive edge that pushes you to keep raising the bar.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with customers who love what they do. We work with event marketers, venue operators, and live event pros who are passionate about music, shows, and entertainment. Our Sales team is critical to Hive’s growth and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to help fuel that growth.
What you'll get up to:
Manage all sales stages including prospecting, pipeline generation, qualification, product demonstrations, thoughtful follow up, negotiation, and closing.
Communicate with potential customers via all available channels including cold calling, email, video, LinkedIn, etc.
Conduct meetings to better understand customer needs and clearly articulate our solutions that address them.
Share and contribute to best practices and techniques in relation to industry trends.
Set priorities, plan, and manage multiple tasks while being comfortable shifting when necessary.
Identify, recommend, and lead the execution of growth opportunities across markets.
Forecast and manage your sales pipeline via Salesforce CRM with the ability to communicate its health clearly.
Who you are:
2+ years of experience successfully running full-cycle SaaS sales
Confident with excellent communication skills. You are comfortable with speaking to customers and colleagues in person, via video, or over the phone.
Empathetic with an ability to understand customers' goals, perspectives, needs, and challenges.
Proactive in your work and take initiative with opportunities to add value.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to exceed targets.
Experience using Salesforce and other CRM tools
Experience with event promotion, event marketing, and email marketing is a plus
Compensation + benefits:

The compensation structure for this role:
Canada: $70,000 CAD base, $50,000 CAD variable pay, for an on-target-earning potential of $120,000 CAD.
US: final base salary will be dependent on location and experience
Work fully remote in Canada or the US: where you’re most productive whether that be from your house, or elsewhere. We just ask that you have legal work authorization in the country you reside in. Unfortunately, we are unable to hire within Quebec, Canada at this time.
