About Lillio (formerly HiMama) and Our Mission:
At Lillio (formerly HiMama), we are committed to serving the field as an authentic voice of the early childhood education (ECE) workforce, providing programs with all of the building blocks for high-quality early care and education and helping early educators focus on what matters most for children’s successful development and learning: relationships, play, creativity, and loving, nurturing caregiving. We are a social-purpose business with the goal of empowering early childhood educators through innovative, affordable tools that enable them to improve child outcomes, engage family members, and support continued professional growth for their staff. If you are excited about being part of an impact-driven business, focused on making a difference in the early childhood education industry, Lillio is the place for you.
Lillio is a Series B, private-equity backed business and we're proud to be part of the Bain Double Impact portfolio. Lillio is recognized as an industry leader, most recently selected by Fortune in 2023 for their "Impact 20" list, which highlights organizations that have built their business models around world-changing ideas to solve social and environmental problems.
Sales at Lillio is a small, high-energy, and results-driven team that thrives on performance and impact. We work closely together to drive the growth of our business while keeping our customers’ success at the center of everything we do. Team members support one another, share best practices, and celebrate wins together, creating an environment where hard work, curiosity, and creativity are recognized and rewarded.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Associate Account Executive (AAE) to join our Sales team. Reporting to the Senior Team Lead, Sales, this role is an opportunity to accelerate your sales career in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while making a meaningful difference in the childcare sector. Ideal candidates are energized by connecting with people, thrive in a high-performance culture with high expectations, and are excited to directly contribute to Lillio’s revenue growth.
As an Associate Account Executive, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how Lillio shows up in the market. You’ll engage directly with childcare leaders, understand their operational needs, and guide them toward solutions that help them run stronger programs and deliver better outcomes for children. This role blends pipeline creation, consultative selling, and mission-driven impact - giving you the opportunity not only to grow revenue, but to improve the experience of educators, families, and children across North America.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Design & run outbound campaigns to priority sub-segments within the SMB childcare market to generate your own pipeline.
  • Execute high-volume, high-quality outreach across calls, emails and Salesloft cadences to engage providers and create qualified opportunities.
  • Manage SB inbound opportunities (once onboarding and performance requirements are met) and convert them into Lillio customers.
  • Run the full sales cycle from discovery to close for the SMB deals you source, while partnering closely with the SDR team to work inbound opportunities.
  • Build rapport with key decision-makers (owners, directors, and administrators) to understand their challenges and introduce Lillio’s solutions.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and communicate Lillio’s value clearly and confidently.
  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene with accurate forecasting, next steps, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals, with an outbound-first approach.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to refine outbound messaging, build prospect lists, and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally to share market feedback, log product requests, improve messaging, and influence go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of childcare industry trends to position yourself as a trusted expert in conversations with prospects.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–4+ years of quota-carrying sales or business development experience, ideally in a SaaS or high-velocity sales environment.
  • A motivated, high-energy seller with a strong desire to exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Comfort and confidence leading with outbound-first prospecting, with inbound as a supplement—not the primary source of pipeline.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and tailor messaging to diverse childcare providers.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple prospects, tasks, and follow-ups effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Growth-minded, highly coachable, and eager to continuously improve; actively seeks, receives, and implements feedback while progressing toward a full Account Executive role.
  • Strategic thinker who approaches prospecting thoughtfully, leveraging research, data, and experimentation to drive results.
  • Thrives in a high-performance, high-expectation team environment and embraces feedback as a path to improvement.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft.
Don’t have all the requirements but convinced you’ll be able to make an impact? We’d love to hear from you! Please note that we place serious consideration to your application responses to all questions; only completed profiles will be considered for this role.
