Social Media Manager
We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to join the Pod!
If you’re passionate about social media, love crafting video content, and are excited to help build a brand that truly cares about community, we’d love to have you aboard.
You’ll be a key player in shaping our brand’s voice, connecting with fellow social media managers, and showcasing how HeyOrca helps build community and success.
*We are currently seeking candidates located in Canada.
Salary: $50k-70k
Key responsibilities:
Create engaging content
- Be the creative force behind our social media. You’ll create content (video, static, memes, text, and more) that reflect HeyOrca’s brand narrative – we’re relatable, we help build community, and we care about your success. (Platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)
- Turn HeyOrca’s content (like newsletters and webinars) into bite-sized social posts that tell our story.
- Highlight our innovative platform that’s built for collaboration and community through fun, engaging visuals and content.
Collaborate with our community
- Partner with creators, customers, and our team to co-create content that amplifies HeyOrca’s brand and narrative.
- Encourage user-generated content, celebrating real stories of how our community uses HeyOrca to succeed.
Share your expertise
- Be the social media expert in our weekly webinars with our Community Manager, sharing platform insights, trends, and best practices with our community.
- Help our team become better creators – offering content tips, sparking new ideas, and boosting personal brands.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Creator.
- A strong background in content creation for TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn as well as comfortable in front of the camera
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and writing skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of current social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
