- Media Innovation & Product Development: Identify opportunities for new paid media offerings tailored to the creator economy, helping #paid stay ahead of the curve
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Strategy, and Client Success to ensure media efforts align with client needs and business goals
- Technology & Efficiency Optimization: Partner with Product to identify tooling and automation opportunities that streamline campaign execution and media buying operations
- Team Incentives & Performance Growth: Design and implement performance-based incentives that motivate team members and support strategic business outcomes
- Thought Leadership & Industry Trends: Stay on top of platform updates and industry shifts, bringing fresh thinking and leadership to the way we buy media at #paid
- Team & Process Management: Manage and support a team of media buyers, fostering a high-performance culture and implementing processes that enhance efficiency and scale
- Departmental Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of the Media team, including resource planning, internal reporting, and workflow improvements
- Media Strategy & Execution: Own and optimize paid media campaigns across major platforms, ensuring effective creator ad placements and consistent performance
- Campaign Optimization & Performance: Provide strategic input and hands-on support for live campaigns to ensure we’re delivering strong performance for clients
To be successful, you'll need to
- Lead a team of full-time employees and contractors, ensuring strong performance, high engagement, and alignment to team goals
- Design and implement scalable media strategies that drive strong results in the creator economy
- Build and streamline internal processes that enhance media operations and campaign execution
- Collaborate with Sales, Strategy, and Client Success teams to ensure campaigns meet client goals
- Partner with the Product team to identify and build tools that increase media team efficiency
- Provide mentorship and support to the Media team while creating performance incentives that drive motivation and innovation
- Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to #paid’s internal and external thought leadership
- Manage and optimize paid social campaigns hands-on across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and more
About you
- 7–10+ years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or creator marketing
- Proven leadership experience managing full-time employees and leading a high-performing team
- Direct, hands-on experience running paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and other social platforms
- Deep understanding of auction dynamics, bidding strategies, creative testing, and optimization tactics
- Experience managing $5M+ in annual media spend (preferred)
- Strong background in media strategy, amplification regulations, and paid media innovation
- Experience managing contractors and collaborating with cross-functional leadership
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Highly organized and process-oriented, with strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Bonus: Experience in the creator economy and working closely with Sales or Creative Strategy teams
