About Us
#paid is a creator marketing platform that sits at the intersection of brand and creator collaboration. We help direct-to-consumer and Fortune 500 brands like Infiniti, TJX, Unilever, and Sephora, activate creators to drive growth.
We are building the platform of record that powers content creation and distribution for brands globally. The better we do that, the better we can serve our creator community and provide them with the best place on earth to do what they love—create.
The Role
We're looking for a Marketing Designer who can help us create memorable visual brand experiences that represent the #paid story. You'll work directly with the marketing team and several functions across the company to create and develop top notch marketing collateral.
To accomplish our mission we need a designer to steward our company’s visual identity, and turn everything visual into something distinctive and memorable for customers. You’ll be the guardian of our brand.
If you're successful:
- People will tell our sales team that they remember seeing one of #paid’s ads
- People will enjoy looking at the things you create and anticipate your next piece of work
- More people who visit our landing pages will give us their info for follow-up
- People will see our event space or booth from far away and want to visit out of curiosity
- People will invite you to speak on panels and conferences to discuss all things design and brand
- Team Members will understand and follow your process for creative requests
- Team Members will understand and adhere to style guidelines you develop for the business
To get to this point, you’ll do these three things:
- Identify and design beautiful things
- Beyond aesthetics, you’ll need to understand what makes people take action
- And you’ll need to think creatively; you have to constantly explore the world and test ideas to solve big problems
Of course, it’s not easy:
- You’ll need to understand what #paid is trying to do in the creator economy
- Prioritize projects (and say no to some things) so that we can achieve our company and marketing goals
- You’ll need hawk eyes to make sure we're always consistent with our overall visual identity, and on-brand
- You’ll need to think about how design can be a competitive advantage to our business
- You think about how a particular design will be interpreted and consumed by people
- You’ll have to contribute to strategic discussion—to think beyond design
- But you’ll be asked to switch quickly, so you can execute on the visual elements of any plan
- And you’ll need to communicate conceptual ideas and provide a rationale for them
You're perfect for the role if:
- You’re always looking for visual inspiration in the world around you
- You can identify companies with a distinct visual identity, and point out what makes them memorable
- You can listen and respond to feedback from the teamYou don’t settle for the easiest idea that comes to mind
- You have a solid portfolio of design work for us to look at
- You use tools like Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite
These aren’t necessary, but it would be cool if
- You can create motion graphic videos (Stuff you’d make with After Effects, for example)
- You can shoot and edit video
- You can shoot and edit photos
- You have UX and UI experience
