  • Coordinates cross-border collaboration, including occasional travel, managing cultural, time zone, and regulatory nuances to maintain project momentum.
  • Translates high-level business and product strategies into structured project plans with clear deliverables.
  • Responsible for providing regular project updates, presentations, milestone reviews, and other project documentation for internal/external teams.
  • Delivers concise, executive-level reporting that drives strategic decision-making and supports investor-facing updates.

  • Aligns chip-related development with performance expectations, testing feedback, and technical requirements across global teams.
  • Facilitates the adaptation of chip innovations into viable prototypes and commercial products, working within regulatory and material constraints.
  • Coordinates with regulatory and legal teams to integrate region-specific compliance requirements into early R&D planning.

Scientific Testing & Validation Support

  • Coordinates the planning and execution of regulated testing activities that cannot be performed in China, particularly involving nicotine and cannabis-based oils.
  • Works closely with the in-house chemistry team, test engineers, and external laboratories to ensure accuracy and compliance in all testing efforts.
  • Integrates lab testing outcomes into the iterative development cycle, ensuring product enhancements are data-driven and compliant.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Facilitates technical discussions between disciplines to ensure a unified understanding of product objectives, timelines, and test requirements.
  • Supports the development of documentation, including technical specifications, project updates, and milestone reviews.
  • Establishes robust asynchronous communication practices to bridge time zone gaps across China, Canada, the US, and the UK, ensuring continuous progress and minimal bottlenecks.
  • Translates complex technical and scientific concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and executive teams.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Identifies and mitigates potential technical and operational risks throughout the R&D process.
  • Implements and promotes best practices in project planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Implements and maintains project management and documentation systems (e.g. PLM tools) to ensure traceability, version control, and global team access.
