Bazaarvoice is looking for an experienced Product Marketing leader to focus on growing our offerings spanning core SaaS, Services, contextualization solutions. This person will report directly to the VP, Product Marketing and work very closely alongside their Product leadership peers in the Content and Creators Product Marketing, Pricing & Packaging, Commercialization and Product Management teams.
The Product Marketing team at Bazaarvoice has the global responsibility of developing, launching, and growing existing and new offers in the market. We are looking for a growth-minded leader to define the growth strategies, planning and execution across all our core offerings. As part of the Product team, you will be responsible for helping define new opportunities to position the value of our platform and core offerings plus create and refine messaging & positioning to drive renewals, upsell and cross-sell. You will be responsible for the go-to-market and ongoing product marketing support for a portfolio spanning Core SaaS offerings (R&R, Q&A, Analytics), contextualization software, global professional services and key technical integrations with select technology partners.
This role will require high levels of collaboration with other leaders across Product Marketing, Product Management, UX, Sales, Client Services, Pricing and Packaging, Operations and Data teams to ensure business success.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support revenue goals by developing, refining and executing go-to-market strategies for products, offers, product features and partnership offers within your portfolio
  • Be responsible for product positioning, messaging, packaging, and related marketing content and sales tools
  • Mentor and lead the Product Marketing team, be a partner to Executives, act as a cross-functional partner, and be a champion of the brand and products internally and externally
  • Lead team to increase internal expertise and empathy around our buyers and users - illuminating who they are, how they make buying decisions, and why they’d choose Bazaarvoice
  • Stay updated: with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, ecommerce and related areas in B2C commerce.
  • Use this customer research, competitive intel and guidance from our in-house experts to develop product positioning and messaging that is meaningful to our target buyer personas
  • Partner with Marketing to raise marketplace/client awareness of Bazaarvoice’s product and solution value propositions, specifically to the target personas.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Product Marketing, C&C and Sr. Director of Pricing and Packaging to ensure we are supporting holistic solutions messaging and selling through marketing and sales interactions and thoughtful packaging and pricing.
  • Find new opportunities and ways to position offerings from Bazaarvoice with clients across Brands and Retailers across both Enterprise and SMB.
  • Lead team to maintain insights and intelligence on competitive positioning to drive roadmap improvements and enable effective objection handling and selling
  • Directly support Sales and Client Success on a 1:1 basis on key industry/client events and accounts (prospects and clients)
  • Track quantitative and qualitative performance measures on your portfolio
  • Partner with Product Management on assessing product/market fit for new features and offerings.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing or Product Strategy for an Enterprise SaaS business, with 3+ years in a management role, with at least 1-2 years marketing products to marketing and digital commerce focused-buying centers
  • Ideally has prior employment experience at major consumer brand or retailer
  • A creative, bold storyteller with deep curiosity and passion for customers needs & challenges and ensuring they can easily understand how solutions can address these
  • Proven ability to build messaging and positioning that performs
  • The ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and translate these into compelling, commercial, customer-focussed communications
  • Process-minded with experience using platforms (AI, etc) to scale efficiencies of the team
  • A passion for inspiring and mentoring talent
  • Proven track record in bringing concepts to market: Demonstrated success in analyzing market opportunities, defining market requirements, and managing go-to-market
  • Experience in prioritizing highest impact work and delivery of high quality assets
  • Experience collaborating and communicating (written and verbal) skills including to executive audience
  • Data driven, measurement and results focused
  • Open to up to 20% travel to client meetings and conferences
